Țara Făgărașului has as its goal the development of sustainable communities in the Țara Făgărașului through the promotion of the potential of the material and the spiritual side of the area in order to exploit the immense cultural heritage of the natural, material and cultural existence.

TAMI, friend of the children and counselor for adults
TAMI has been created as a model of success in Switzerland (Globi) in order to facilitate the transmission from adults to children and young people, the message of the educational methods of non-formal education.

The center of the Exhibition of Innovative Technologies and Justin capra

Lab SUNFOOD, as an integral part of the Center's Demonstration of Innovative Technologies and Justin Capră (CDTI), this is the place where young people and adults will enjoy the benefits of the healing plants from the spontaneous flora, the manner in which the nature of the sun can feed us.
Funded by "The background of the Carpathia”, a program of the Foundation Conservation Carpathia being implemented in the Țara Făgărașului by the Foundation of the Community, the Țara Făgărașului(FCTF) I took the first step is the acquisition of an expandable container intended for the activities of the indor ( the selection, processing, and packaging).
The next steps for the completion of the project are to :
– To ensure the energy independence of the lab, with the purchase of a pv system performance
– Equip the laboratory with the necessary equipment

Underground greenhouses are not new!
They date back to the cold climate of early New England. One of the oldest known earth-protected greenhouses was built on the famous Lyman estate in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 1798. It was expanded in the 1800s to protect rare varieties of grapes and fruit trees and is believed to be the oldest greenhouse complex in the United States.

The Swiss – Romanian Sustainability Winter School
After feeling pretty good that I've made it with all The Hârseniului in 2018 in Switzerland, we had been invited once again to organize the winter School on environmental protection.
After a hiatus of 5 years, under the tutelage of the University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland of the East, OST, Rapperswil, with the support of our sponsors and organisations, the Association of RoSwi Verein Rapperswil and the Romanian School of Zurich and, at the period of the 1st to 7th of December we took part in the youth in Fagaras, Brasov, romania, and Miercurea Ciuc in a ground-breaking project, which focused on sustainability, education and international co-operation : the Winter of Sustainability School.
On this occasion, the young people had the opportunity to meet new people, learn new things, to visit exciting locations to go to in the Romanian communities in the Switzerland customs and traditions in the Usa and the District.
We hope that the participants in this year to share with you to implement in their communities, their learning, thus contributing to the sustainable development of our region.
We also hope, in the next few years to be able to offer this opportunity to as many children and young people in the community.

The Green Generation is a project of the Erasmus+
The problem that has led to the idea of the project is the lack of a culture oriented towards a circular economy at the turn of the young people from diverse backgrounds and farmers from Țara Făgărașului.
The aim of the project is to educate the participants and the members of the local community with regard to the circular economy, through the development of the practical and the concrete; from the collection of the products from the farm or is likely to achieve, and the dissolution of the finished product, covering all aspects of the circular economy.
Expected result: to develop the skills of the participants in the field of entrepreneurship, environmentally friendly, and created by the help of this practical experiment is a role model for the community .
